With the
financial support extended by Fuchs Lubricants (India) Pvt. Ltd. in coordination
with Rotary Club of Bombay Mid Town, NASEOH took up a project to mobilize,
screen and identify the locomotor disabled in and around Kalyan for supporting
them with the appropriate Assistive Mobility Devices.
In implementation
of this project a day long screening camp was organized on Sunday,
the 8thFebruary 2026at Ground
Floor, Gajanan Maharaj Darshan Building, Gajanan Maharaj Mandir, New Manisha
Nagar, opp. Saibaba Nagar, Kalyan (West)) with the support of local NGO Apang
Vikas Mahasangh, Kalyan.
Before the screening
camp wide publicity was given to the event thorough exhibition of banners and
distribution of hand bills announcing the camp and using WhatsApp
communications in groups to mobilize the
maximum numbers of needybeneficiaries. Through the team of prosthetic &
orthotic technicians, Occupational & Physio therapists, social workers and
volunteers the camp was held and the following appropriate assistive mobility
devices were identified for 88 beneficiaries.
The measurementswere taken by the team
wherever necessary. The above devices were then fabricated and assembled at the
vocational Training Centre of NASEOH.
The distribution camp to distribute and fit
these devices to the identified beneficiaries was held on Saturday, the 22nd
March 2026at Ground Floor,
Gajanan Maharaj Darshan Building, Gajanan Maharaj Mandir, New Manisha Nagar,
opp. Saibaba Nagar, Kalyan (West).
The camp was attended by Mr. Kanchan Poojary of Fuchs Lubricants (India) Pvt. Ltd. and the other senior officers of
the company, Mr. Kiran Nalawade, Mr. Panda& Mr. Sawant, Rtn. Pallavi
Kanchan, member of Rotary Club of Bombay Mid Town, Rtn. Gaurav Kapadia, Senior member of Rotary
Club of Bombay Mid Town and Hon. Treasurer of NASEOH , Team from NASEOH and
members of Local NGO Apang Vikas Mahasangh,
Kalyan.
